phelps reunion & the 4tH oF jULy!

we had a great time this past week/weekend. we had a family reunion in granstville at the homes of ben's uncles (they all live on a private lane with tons of land & things to do!). we decided not to try and tent it in their yards like everyone else and came home each night...it was a lot of driving back and forth but better than no sleep :)...
pool fun & bbq...
the family reunion was started off on thursday evening. the fam rented out the local pool for some swimmin' fun & happy eating :). a lot of water and a great bbq!...

ben & kade just after they landed off the waterslide...which kaden fell in love with..he had us taking him down it the whole night. gavin on the other hand hated it, ben took him down once and he cried the whole way :(...

4th of july!
ward 4th of july breakfast...
our ward had a great breakfast/activity we went to before we headed out to granstville again. the activities committee in our ward rocks (amy & jason)!!! :) they even had the city firetruck come to spray the kids down with water. we had a lot of fun...
they had a bike parade for all the kids..here's cute landon riding his scooter... 2nd day of the allen reunion...
after the ward breakfast we headed back to granstville for more family fun :). here's the boys petting cousin brian's dogs...kaden & gavin both LOVE animals... sack races :)...kenzie riding one of their horses..she got quite good at riding them!...

while liting fireworks kaden & jakob decided playing in the dirt would be a lot of fun :)...playground time...

ben's uncles just put in a really fun playground at the end of their lane..the kids had a great time playing on it all week :)...tennis...

daddy played a lot of tennis with his brother & some cousins over the past few days. gavin loved watching... jonny & gav... woohoo..fireworks!!

we went to their highschool to watch fireworks. fireworks are my all time FaVoRiTe!!!...one of the main reasons why the fourth of july is my fAvOrItE HoLiDaY!! love em', love em', love em'!!... daddy & gav... waiting for the show to begin...

watching fireworks with mommy. at first gavin just screamed hearing the big booms & seeing the lit up sky..kaden didn't know what to think either. after a minute though they calmed down and actually liked the show :)...adam (ben's best cousin & friend) & his wife, havelah & their little girl, kyla. YES, this IS adam..a lot of you know him and haven't seen him in years. after ben left on his mish adam decided that he needed to change & worked really hard and went on a mission! it doesn't stop there though..a few months after he got home he met hav & got married in the temple..and now, well..he just got called to be in their bishopric!! isn't the gospel amazing?!!! we love you adam!!!!...some of the gang... now watching with daddy... jonny & jess. we love you guys!!... gavin was so tired that he feel asleep in my arms while watching fireworks! daddy with gav & kaden going back to the car...
