the cruise

so here's the cruise part of our trip :). we would sail into each port..stay a day or two..and then would have a day at sea in between each place. so all in all we got to know our cruise ship pretty well :). matt & camee, you probably will recognize it..it was the same exact cruise ship we were on in hawaii! they changed the name of the ship from 'pride of hawaii' to the 'norwegian jade' and moved it from hawaii to the mediterranean last year :). i would definitely recommend norwegian cruise lines. they have the best service and are so much fun! we loved our cruise!

larry & darla in the hot tub :)...
eating at the yummy sushi bar...a pic as we were sailing by sicily...most of our pics are of us eating, hehe! well, that's basically all we did while on the cruise ship!! we had a big dinning room, about 8 or 9 restaurants, and a buffet! we ate the BEST food!...
here we are in the french restaurant one night...here's all of our towel animals that our awesome stewards would make for us throughout the cruise...a band we listened to one night...i told you...all we did was eat, eat, eat! here we are at the french restaurant again :)...the guitarist that would play throughout the cruise. he had a little boy come help him one night..it made me miss my little guys like crazy!!!... gotta love the all you can eat ice cream!...lori & judd..larry and darla's friends who came with us. they were so fun..we loved getting to know them better!... a cool bread sculpture adorning the buffet :)...sailing into turkey... leaving turkey... eating breakfast out on deck as we sailed into greece...one of our favorite restaurants was the steak house! these next pics are of all the food we ate there!!... i LOVED their clam chowder... crab cakes...another show we went to...fondue for dessert @ the french restaurant :)... the pool was great... looking out from the back of the ship one of the days we were at sea...tepanyaki..the ship had an awesome tepanyaki restaurant...we saw some amazing sunsets...ben & larry loved the arcade :)...the ship had a really nice gym that i loved...sweatin' away :)... one of the shows we went to one night was an improv comedy..it was hilarious...chocolate buffet! they had an awesome midnight chocolate buffet on one of the last nights of the cruise. check out all the chocolate sculptures! crazy!...along with the chocolate sculptures were a few ice sculptures too!.. judd wanted a pic of the crazy carpet after we went to one of the shows one night..hehe..so he layed down and acted crazy himself :). it was hilarious... as always, we loved the virgin pina colada's!... dinner at the steakhouse again :). man that food was good!... ben & judd had oysters that night...getting ready to leave malta...2 days later...saying goodbye to our awesome cruise ship...

Welcome home, Kara and Ben! I loved looking at all your fun pictures. It really looks like an amazing trip. In this last round of picts, I LOVE your red spotted jacket, Kara! Adorable!! And the food and cruise amenities all looks sooo perfectly divine right now. Wow.

Brian and I are both trying to get in better shape right now, and he says when we reach our "goals" we can book a cruise. This is GREAT motivation!!!
Thanks so much for sharing.
