memorial day 2010

every memorial day we go up to ben's grandparents graves in the salt lake city cemetery. we had a great time being together and enjoying the day this year...

that night we went to a family fun fair that our city put on for our city celebration last week...

kaden wanted to be batman...
kaden was SO proud of himself. he acted like batman for the rest of the night. he kept saying, "mom, is it rubbed off...is it still ok?!"...
gavin's turn {he wanted to be a tiger}. we were laughing so hard because we told him to close his eyes while she was painting. this is how he closes his eyes right now. so the whole time his face was all scrunched up :). haha...

the next morning we entered gabby into the city baby contest {i talked audra into it the night before. haha}. and guess what...she won!!!!!!!!!

you can see why. she's beautiful and has such a cute personality! she batted her eyes, danced, waved and smiled so big at the judges :)...

here she is in her cute little cowgirl outfit {that was the theme of the baby contest..cowgirls & cowboys}. we made her bow and shirt out of a bandanna's at 1am that morning :). go gabby!
